It was just last week that we told you how GE had received funding from the Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) MOVE project to work on an at-home natural gas refuelling station (see article): and now the Eaton Corporation is set to follow suit. We’re a step closer to the introduction of a Mercedes-Benz hybrid truck after the Eaton Corporation supplied key power technology for the Mercedes-Benz BlueTec Atego Hybrid. The vehicle will be part of a new range of Mercedes-Benz Atego trucks and is the first hybrid truck in Europe to gain European Type Approval.
