Dodge is reportedly planning to revive the Stealth as an SUV replacement for the Durango in 2027, dashing hopes of a more exciting vehicle. Sam Fiorani from AutoForecast Solutions told Automotive News Canada that Dodge would roll out the Stealth after the Durango’s expected departure in 2027.

Today I have a 2024 Dodge Durango Alchemi (we're not going to follow Dodge's capitalization on this one, we typically don't follow the OEMs' style, though there are exceptions) parked in my garage. Pros It will surprise no one that the engine is a "pro". In general, the Durango works well as a people/stuff mover.

In news that will surprise very few of you, Dodge has announced that it will continue building Hemi V8 engines. The automaker said it would offer the Durango R/T and SRT Hellcat through at least the 2025 model year, but as history has shown us, theyll likely stick around for far longer than that. The SUV-ified versions have been a bit easier to unearth, though even in that case the earliest one I've documented was a 1986 model. Three optional trim levels were available for the 1982-1983 S-10: Durango , Tahoe and Sport. The Durango was the cheapest of the three, adding $334 ($1,111 today) to the cost of a 1983 regular-cab S-10.

The Model X SUV remained “Much-Worse-Than-Average” for reliability, with ongoing problems including the falcon-wing doors and center display screen.
