The new fuel economy label which confirms the new VED rates will be available for download from the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) website [link]. Models anticipated for 2011 include a plug-in Toyota Prius and Vauxhall Ampera. The taxation of these cars will be subject to the 3% uplift for diesel cars from this date.

Reply ↓ ↑ report 8 Roger Smith 3:45PM (4/25/2009) Why do they even sell the Gas ver of the car in the states the Diesel ver just makes more sense it gets almost twice the mileage of the petrol ver. o well I guess they think all yanks hate diesels. I really would love to get a 120D coupe BMW u cant beat 0-60 of 7.5 and 49 mpg.
