This is respectable fuel economy for an AWD, 4,400-pound, six-passenger crossover. The limited storage behind the raised third row becomes a very useful space when that row is dropped. Smooth yet grippy.

The EPA rated the Santa Cruz’ fuel economy at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined. Being able to fit four full-size adults in the cabin makes it ideal for making it your camping or other outdoor adventure vehicle, or those quick runs to the DIY store. In 226 miles of mostly freeway driving through Southern California we averaged 23.8

The Maverick EcoBoost was not designed to be a heavy-duty work truck, but more for the weekend warrior/home owner doing DIY projects or used for active lifestyles for activities such as biking and kayaking. The EcoBoost was good for a 6.2 second 0-60 mph time.
