PSA Peugeot Citroën is presenting a demonstrator equipped with the FiSyPAC (Fiabilisation système pile à combustible) hydrogen fuel cell range extender system at the “Toute la lumière sur l’hydrogène énergie” show in Lyon, France, from 7-11 December. Competition is going to force them to produce a comfortable, usable, extended range EV for that price, and I will just have to wait. o well I guess they think all yanks hate diesels. hopefully diesel prices will dip below regular since they finished all of the low sulfur diesel producing plants. and 49 mpg.

The head of Chryslers ENVI division, Lou Rhodes, told AutoblogGreen this morning that Chrysler is marketing this battery-only version of the van to commercial fleet customers who typically have shorter range requirements. Extended-range electric vehicles — such as the Chevy Volt, which GM says will recharge in three hours — offer another route, adding a small gas engine to keep drivers from feeling stranded without access to fuel.
