Hopefully the funding was from the same place as well… 2 Bill C said on March 13th, 2009 at 1:21 pm I think a few billion should be taken out of the Detroit bailout and give some capital to all of the electric car companies. The tango (commuter cars) says they only need 50 million to become profitable. This is a drop in the bucket.

Guess what, this company, picked up one of the old trdemarks and it will be manufactured under the name "Detroit Electric". Sure beats Detroit, same old, same old gas buggy, and anothe Purple PLUM, whoops PUMA, two wheel, or is 4wheel, kiddy car. The PUMA is just another example of the fact that Detroit, particularly GM, is clueless.

Best take on all this has been that SouthPark episode with "It" You want something efficient that uses little resources and doesnt impact traffic and parking, then buy a motorcycle. market b y the end of 2009. Want to do better in a short distance, then get a bicycle. Does that bother you?
