The VinFast VF Wild electric pickup concept unveiled at the 2024 CES tech extravaganza in Las Vegas this morning was designed in Australia. The sharp-lined VF Wild ute is the work of an independent design studio in Melbourne called GoMotiv, as is the VF 3 mini electric SUV rolled out alongside it at CES.

Vietnamese EV startup VinFast has revealed its VF Wild mid-sized ute concept at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The Ford Ranger-sized pickup features a ‘midgate design’ tray where the back of the cabin opens up and rear seats fold to allow additional cargo carrying space.

At its unveiling at CES in Las Vegas, bosses confirmed that the final car is designed, and testing of the production car is now under way at Honda’s US headquarters, ahead of an expected reveal in 2025. It could also take an actual name, rather than a numerical or alphabetical designation like e:NY1, into production.
