When at the dealer, make sure to lift the hood and get a look at the beautiful Trofeo red and black engine with its carbon fiber bits, which by far is the most attractive you will see. The concave grille, sporting the bold Maserati Trident badge, is bordered by fog lights and adaptive LED headlights that sneer down from wide on the fenders.

coefficient of drag (C d ), which is a technical measure of how slippery the Atlas Cross Sport goes through the air, and the engine stop/start feature that turns-off the engine at a traffic light or stopped in rush hour traffic, then restarts when you release the brake pedal. This is very helpful when cornering in an unlit area.

When at the dealer, make sure to lift the hood and get a look at the beautiful Trofeo carbon fiber red and black engine cover, which by far is the most attractive we have seen. One of the most annoying thing about cars that pretend to be a sports sedan, but really aren’t, is their faux or overpowering exhaust note. Pretty and powerful.

The negative was the exhaust note (when in hybrid mode), which was too loud and quickly became tiresome. The LED tail lights, with an illuminated Dodge logo, run the full width of the hands-free power lift gate. The AWD torque vectoring acts as an electronic limited slip differential. The paddle shifters were unnecessarily large.

The narrow LED head and daytime running lights take up as little real estate as possible on the front fenders, and the turn signals are mere slits sitting just above the bright lower fascia. Road Test: 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe. The front grille has thankfully gone on a diet, now slimmer and more mature.

The narrow LED head, daytime running, fog and tail lights allowed the designers to take up as little real estate as possible, making for a sleek look. The redesigned grille with LED accent lighting is not overly large, but the Mazda badge is probably the largest on any in the company’s line-up. Road Test: 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
