The US Department of Energy (DOE), through its Advanced Vehicle Testing Activity ( AVTA ) at Idaho National Laboratory (INL), has completed 1 million miles of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) testing. More than 215 PHEVs, representing 12 different PHEV models—mostly conversions—have made up the PHEV test fleet to date.

A plug and a pack can make a car a 101 MPG vehicle aided by electricity. ! Cause if you're without wheels, which is due to $4, $5, $6/gallon for gasoline, then "Happiness" is not likely yours! After all, if the US Stimulus Package program could do "Cash for Clunkers," then why not "Cash for Conversions!". Wheels, Guys!
