When Clean Fleet Report has the Electrified GV70 for a full week, we will do a deeper review that includes more details on the real world driving range. The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the gasoline GV70 a Top Safety Pick+, their highest safety rating. Clean Fleet Report has been impressed with all Genesis models.

This is saying something, as she has ridden in or driven many of the 800+ cars I have reviewed for Clean Fleet Report over the past 10 years. Starting in 2025 they will have no new internal combustion engine models, then by 2030 will only sell battery-powered cars and SUVs. Clean Fleet Report has been impressed with all Genesis models.

Genesis calls it the “G80 Electrified,” but instead of having it cast in with a bunch of hybrids and plug-in hybrids, we at Clean Fleet Report will simply call it as it is—the G80 EV. By 2025 it will come out with no new internal combustion engine (ICE) models, then by 2030 will only sell electric cars and SUVs. Room to stretch out.
