Battery maker Octillion Power Systems will supply advanced lithium-ion batteries to Brazilian manufacturer FNM (Fábrica Nacional de Mobilidades) for the production of 1,000 electric trucks for beverage maker Ambev. LG Chem has entered a four-year supply deal to provide lithium ion batteries to Eaton Corp. its US unit based in Troy, Michigan, in anticipation of increasing batteries supply to Eaton, the company said in a statement. LG Chem is also supplying Li-ion batteries to GM, Hyundai, Kia and CT&T. Korea Times.

Earlier this year, Nissan Nissan North America (NNA) selected AeroVironment to supply electric vehicle home-charging stations and installation services supporting the introduction of the LEAF. Eaton Corporation displayed its electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and Eaton-branded Mitsubishi Innovative Electric Vehicle (iMiEV) car.
