USDA has reached an agreement with Silicon Valley Bank to provide a $91-million Biorefinery Assistance Program loan guarantee to Cool Planet to help the company finish construction on an advanced biofuel plant at the Port of Alexandria in Louisiana. The output of these processing stations is connected to an array of catalysts.

Another prominent project is Tallgrass’ planned Pony Express conversion.

The conversion is expected to take place in 2022. The Alliance Refinery, located on the Mississippi River in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, 25 miles south of New Orleans, employs approximately 500 employees and 400 contractors. The refinery can also receive foreign crude oil by pipeline connected to the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port.
