Audi testing find e-ethanol and e-diesel produced by Joule often perform better than conventional counterparts

Green Car Congress

Audi investigating its e-fuels in an optical research engine using laser-induced fluorescence. Our test shows that as well as electric driving on renewable electricity, there are other concepts that permit long-distance, low-emission driving. The engineers mix a tracer that glows when stimulated with a laser into the e-fuels.
