The project aims to build the first Tesla Solar neighborhood, making a sustainable residential community. With the coming solar feed-in tariff legislation moving through Sacramento that will pay us for the extra solar energy we produce and feed back into the grid. Right now if you put solar panels on your roof and those panels generate twice the electricity than you use, the best you’re going to get from your electric company is a $0 bill.
