Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington, and Vermont are adopting the same rules. On the plus side, the federal Inflation Reduction Act includes a tax credit of 30% of a commercial electric vehicle’s purchase price up to $40,000, and a few states offer incentives as well.
