To find out about the latest technologies being used by the agricultural industry, I virtually attended the second annual AgTech Innovation Summit , held in February in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It has another R&D complex in Abu Dhabi, plus a commercial farm in Danville, Va. that has an R&D facility.

Etihad Airways, together with Boeing, Total, Takreer and the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, launched a joint industry roadmap for the sustainable production of aviation biofuels in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Commercial EV investment declined from $12 billion in 2016 to $4 billion in 2020. The market is shifting from long-haul heavy-duty commercial vehicles towards cheaper medium- and light-duty commercial vehicles for regional and local deliveries of consumer goods. Biomass and waste-to-energy financings were down 3% at $10 billion.
