Golf carts are no longer just for cruising the country club. Several manufacturers have also created street-legal versions of their golf carts, usually signified with “LSV” in the name ( for the Low-Speed Vehicle designation ), which can be legally driven on most public roads posted with speed limits of 35 mph (56 m/h) or lower.

The arrowhead-shaped triple beam LED headlights, fog, daytime running and cornering lights frame the grille, which sports the Lexus “L” badge in blue, signifying this Lexus is electrified.

The smile inducing silky power and torque was strong, especially in Sport mode, where we turned 0-60 mph times of about 4.9 The rear takes the two-line LED tail light design further as it wraps from fender-to-fender across the trunk. The rear leather seats, with heat and massage, have generous leg room, especially when reclined.

Running on regular unleaded, our Southern California road tripping covered 499 miles, with the majority on highways and traveling no faster than 70 mph. 70-mile run at 45 mph: 58.6 90-mile run at 65 mph: 48.7 Maintenance Plan – Two years/25,000 miles. The average fuel economy was 46.3 liter 4-cylinder engine.

The best we could do over 110 of those miles, with the adaptive cruise control set to 65 mph and in Eco mode, was 29.6 mpg, just a touch below membership in the magic 30 MPG AWD Club. In LED lighting, lumens measure the brightness of a light, as opposed to watts, which measure the amount of energy in a light.

As the power, torque and transmissions indicate, the Hybrid Max does 0-60 mph runs in 5.7 The electric power steering was direct, but a bit light when pushing country lane corners in the Platinum Hybrid Max. We particularly liked the nose and tail and how they utilized LED lighting for a clean look. Two options under the hood.
