Once out of the Los Angeles area, we took CA 123 through Fillmore and Santa Paula, then headed to Ojai on CA 150 through the Topatopa Mountains. Both routes are curvy, winding their way through citrus and avocado groves, with 150 cresting at 6,716 feet. Tire and wind noise were low, and the engine in hybrid mode was quiet.
