A new report from the European Environment Agency (EEA) warns that the health of Europe’s most vulnerable citizens remains disproportionately affected by environmental hazards such as air and noise pollution and extreme temperatures, especially in Europe’s eastern and southern regions, despite overall improvements in Europe’s environmental quality.

Preliminary estimates published in the European Environment Agency’s (EEA) annual trends and projections assessments show a 0.6% Emissions trends for industrial installations have been more variable, reflecting the economic developments observed in Europe over the last three trading periods. emissions increase in 2017 from 2016.

Greenhouse gas emissions increased in the EU in 2010 as a result of both economic recovery in many countries after the 2009 recession and a colder winter, according to the latest greenhouse gas inventory published by the European Environment Agency (EEA). This rebound effect was expected as most of Europe came out of recession.
