The sooner Uber and taxis go 100% electric, the sooner citizens will enjoy cleaner air and quieter neighbourhoods, the planet will have less climate-wrecking emissions and drivers will earn more money. In Portugal, the number of drivers also tripled in 2019 to reach almost 20,000 professional drivers.

Along with the mid-term NGP 2010 plan, originally announced in December 2006, Nissan is reviewing its long-term CO 2 emissions-reduction scenarios. According to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4), global CO 2 concentration in the atmosphere should be stabilized below 450 ppm, Nissan noted.
