DENSO Corporation has improved the temperature detection accuracy of its newly developed diesel exhaust temperature sensor. To improve the sensor’s temperature accuracy, DENSO increased the probe length to almost twice that of the conventional product and extended the sensing tip into the exhaust pipe. Click to enlarge.

The newest class of ships from Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCL) will be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and likely will introduce the use of fuel cell technology, ushering in a new era of shipbuilding that will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The ships will join the fleet of Royal Caribbean International.

As engine speed increases, the exhaust gas stream is split, and the larger K04 low-pressure turbocharger works in series with the KP35 high-pressure turbocharger.
