US giant General Motors is now an electric ute triple threat. It has unveiled the full-size GMC Sierra EV Denali pick-up, joining the GMC Hummer and Chevrolet Silverado EV in its line-up. 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 tows 4300kg. It shares little more than its name with GMC Sierras with ICE drivetrains.

GMC started as a commercial-truck brand, and made largely the same light-duty trucks as Chevrolet.

Most models are aimed at the affluent, resulting in 9,000-pound behemoths with six-figure price tags.
