It's a 2002 Saturn SL1 with 220,000 miles and a rough engine, however it still runs. confused: However I think getting the engine out of the old car and fixing the motor is going to be challenge enough to start with. I have bought my donor car. The price was $900 which was OK I think? I am presently stuck on batteries?

Why pay $40K for a GM volt… which will look nothing more than a Malibu anyway and only get 40 miles before the gasoline engine kicks in. The fuel engine on the Volt is used to run the generator to recharge the battery when a trip exceeds 40 miles, and it’s rage on a full tank is around 400 miles. in chinese ?,

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. I blame management but it is sad that the engineers and union workers are going to get hurt too. Engineering proptypes enjoy a tax break.
