Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE) home wall units are priced at between about $1000 and $2500. All plug-in cars these days come with a 120-volt charge cord. This will actually be sufficient for many if not most Volt drivers, and quite a few LEAF drivers. They’ve kept my LEAF juiced, after all.

Nissan LEAF buyers are excluded. Obviously not.
