Volkswagen unveiled the Golf Sportwagen HyMotion hydrogen fuel cell hybrid research vehicle demonstrator yesterday at the Los Angeles Auto Show ( earlier post ). Two of the total of four carbon fiber composite hydrogen tanks are housed under the rear seat and the other two in the luggage compartment floor.

Hydrogen stations are being built in these areas from industrial gas suppliers such as Linde, Air Products, Air Liquide, Iwatani and other companies such as H2 Logic, First Element and Hydrogen Frontiers are working to create these stations.
