BYD , for examples, says their 60 mile range-extended vehicle can add 30 miles of range in ten minutes. Of course, EVs that arent designed for battery swaps wont use it, and plug-in hybrids wont need it. No single vehicle does it all even in todays petrol world. One of the main drawbacks to charge stations is speed.
