BYD for the global BEV "crown". This is a waste of speculative juices. No matter who makes the most BEVs in the coming years, you won't find Musk focussed on any comparisons as between BEV-makers. All this energy devoted to Tesla v. Sure he wants financial success for Tesla Inc.

Hit the jump for a comparison that includes plenty of pics and video. BYD , for examples, says their 60 mile range-extended vehicle can add 30 miles of range in ten minutes. That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator.
