According to a recent study by the Boston Consulting Group, the active materials and purchased parts for a cell can cost $200-$270/kWh and many people believe the entire battery pack systems (cells, packs, electronic controls) are currently selling for $750 to $950/kWh in large applications. kWh is used to power the car.
