Competition is going to force them to produce a comfortable, usable, extended range EV for that price, and I will just have to wait. For extended range I guess one could carry a fairly modest generator set in the trunk to avoid ever being stranded. Its 655km WLTP range (in Long Range guise) is over 10 per cent above the equivalent Polestar 2 AWD, and its figure bests everything in this price bracket – Telsa Model 3 Long Range (629km) and Hyundai Ioniq 6 RWD Extended Range (614km) included. Range anxiety? Properly banished.
