While people can purchase neighborhood electric vehicles today for about $10K, they only have a top speed of 35 miles an hour or so, essentially glorified golf-carts. The Saturn came up a distant second, but everyone agreed that the Civic was the best. This blog is the story of my path towards that goal. Here we go.

They only have that many models because they use the same chassis and drivetrain to build 3 different cars, one branded as a Chevy, the next a Pontiac, then a Saturn, etc. So my Saturn SC1 does the job great I am getting 35-38 miles on the Hwy and with over 232,000 miles and runs like a champ.
