GM's Plug-In Hybrid: Not a Saturn, Not a Buick, Will Try Again

Just two weeks ago, we reported that GM's first plug-in hybrid vehicle--originally meant to be a Saturn Vue before GM decided to sell Saturn to Pennske--would become a Buick crossover. As GM said Wednesday on its Fastlane blog, "not all the feedback was positive.". My, how quickly things change in the new Internet world.

I posted a question about this on the blog and turn out you can run these on DC. Hope to finish the Volvo this weekend and then start de-ICE ing the Saturn. I read somewhere about a guy using one as a 144DC to 12VDC convertor instead of buying some expensive DC to DC convertor? If anyone has done this let me know how?
