The service was developed as a response to kilometer-long queues of vehicles waiting to cross the EU border from Estonia into Russia. Drivers are informed in real-time on the number of vehicles waiting at the border, enabling them to adapt their journey. With the queue management service, they are now down to around 30 minutes.
