And they've never really lost that futuristic shine, with every major announcement in hardware or software touting how the latest product will shape the world of tomorrow, albeit most likely in the form of a new phone or cloud service.

I met with Preeti Gupta, a freelancer with the BBC. I asked her about start-ups that she has liked, She talked of Bolt, which is setting up charging stations for two wheelers using 15 A plug points. I was there with lots of journalists from auto and mainstream media. Here is my blog and video on the day. Currently in WFH mode.

Mr. Kulongoski wants to make Oregon the go-to state for electric vehicle production.
