The paint shop alone requires about one lakh litres of makeup water every day. 95% of the water is recycled. 35 to 40% of the vehicle cost is battery.

Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. But that cost in a built as an EV is much less than an ICE’s costs by about 1/2. See the below link for a more in depth discussion of this topic.
