BYD wins order for another 406 electric buses in Bogotá, Colombia

BYD won an order to deliver another 406 battery-electric buses to the Colombian capital of Bogotá, coming shortly after a previous announcement on 17 December of the delivery of the 470 pure electric buses to the city. Eaton signs long-term agreement with Argentine bus manufacturer TATSA to design and supply hybrid systems

Eaton Corporation has signed a long-term agreement to design and supply Argentine bus manufacturer Tecnología Avanzada en Transporte S. TATSA), a company wholly owned by Consorcio Metropolitano de Transporte S.A., Eaton matches the system to an automated six-speed Eaton transmission and stores energy in a lithium-ion battery pack.
