Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Notice in [link] that GM carefully avoids claiming to reduce CO2 by shifting to the grid, but leads people off the track by focusing on smog related issues. Way to go morons. P.S. The Volt is not revolutionary.
