A large merchant ship, capable of carrying thousands of containers, could be powered by two (or more) 30-megawatt reactors. This artist’s conception, which is not based on any specific design for a cargo ship, is intended to show the approximate scale of such a vessel. The reactors would be small, modular units.

The hybrid super sports concept car made its debut at the 2010 Geneva International Motor Show, and was launched on the market as a limited series in late 2013. The key technology is the drive concept combining a high-performance combustion engine with two electric motors. This know-how will also be applied to future hybrid drives.

As well as providing a power boost to assist the gasoline engine during acceleration, the electric motor can also power the vehicle by itself. lithium-ion battery powering the motor is centrally mounted underneath the floor of the vehicle. The occupant protection concept is rounded off by standard safety equipment.
