Audi’s basic goal is to combine renewable energy (e.g. solar and wind), water and CO 2 to produce liquid or gaseous fuels with a very low carbon intensity. The Volt is, and always has been, more than than an electric car. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Wired Home Subscribe Sections Cars 2.0 But it is a price that must be paid, and GM should be commended for remaining committed to the Volt. Thats short-sighted.
