Volkswagen used the annual Wörthersee festival in Austria as the venue to unveil the Golf GTE Sport concept plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. Featuring a carbon fiber body and a three power unit, all-wheel drive system, the 295 kW (396 hp) Golf GTE Sport accelerates from 0 - 100 km/h in 4.3 Golf GTE Sport PHEV concept.

The Polestar performance software upgrade is initially available in Europe in the following Polestar markets: UK, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Austria. Accelerating from 80 to 120 km/h takes just 2.2 seconds, half a second quicker than in the standard car.
