In Australia, as part of the Victorian Government’s Electric Vehicle Trial ( earlier post ), DiUS Computing delivered a demand management demonstration project using Victoria’s Smart Grid. The home charging solution deployed for the project integrated the vehicle, the grid and the driver seamlessly and effectively.

It’s a tempting offer, although the P2’s standard equipment list is skinnier. Charged from home using grid electricity, it’ll cost something like $6 to cover 100km. It’s a cool-looking car.
