The CEC updates its Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) sales figures quarterly by analyzing DMV data. Specifically, cumulative sales through the end of 2021 were: 663,014 BEV (62.9%). For sales in 2021 only, the shares were: 183,933 BEV (73.5%). From CEC New ZEV Sales dashboard. Nissan: 4,192 LEAF (2.3%).

Nissan Leaf – from $9000 2012 Nissan Leaf. We found only four for sale, with $28,880 for a 190km range 2014 60Ah version with 100,000km the cheapest. Some haven’t proved as popular as hoped ( Mazda MX-30 ) while some owners may have simply decided, in a few months of ownership, that an EV isn’t for them.

I wish the thing was for sale as-is. Well they did give brief bursts of acceleration through the parking lot to show that it does have some Roadster goodness to it. But yes, there was no slalom to see how it handles the twisties. It is probably a real rocket compared to the Daimler version that will eventually show up.
