Eli Electric Vehicles on Tuesday opened U.S. feet long, the aluminum two-seat Eli Zero is classified as a neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV) in the U.S. As such, it has a top speed of just 25 mph. It’s now 8 or 12 kwh, enough for 60 or 90 miles of range, respectively, compared to 5.8 kwh and 50 miles.

Remy International will supply HVH250 electric motors ( earlier post ) for Aptera Motors’s Aptera 2e electric vehicle. Remy is already supplying a High Voltage Hairpin (HVH) electric motor for Aptera’s entry in the Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize, where the 2e has successfully reached fourth phase of competition.

Genesis GV60 with Active Air Skirt The skirt deploys at speeds above 80 kph (49 mph) and is designed for speed up to 200 kph (124 mph), according to a Hyundai press release. It retracts at 70 kph (43 mph); the gap between deployment and stowage speeds is meant to prevent frequent movement at intermediate speeds.
