High Marks for Hyundai’s First Hybrid SUV. Hyundai’s first-ever hybrid SUV, the all-new 2022 Tucson Hybrid, delivers great fuel economy and seats five while hauling all their stuff, too. Whatever it is, during our week driving the Tucson Hybrid through Southern California, it drew plenty of attention and comments.

Hyundai Motor will showcase its smart mobility solutions and alternative fuel technology at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 starting tomorrow (February 1). The Korean auto giant will display the Nexo SUV which runs on hydrogen fuel as part of its plans to show how alternative fuel technology works.

Mazda says the CX-50 is a “rugged and capable crossover SUV, purpose built for active lifestyles” that enables drivers “to venture further into the outdoors and off-road.”

Climbing and descending this twisting road would be a true test for any car, SUV or truck, but when testing a hybrid there is an extra check on the performance the electric motor adds to the gasoline engine.
