The twin faux exhaust ports on the lower rear fascia actually don’t look too bad, and the star-patterned 19-inch machined alloy wheels look great. When comparison shopping compact SUVs, if a plusher interior is a pacing item, the Taos may be a bit Spartan. The lack of needless chrome and cladding is what makes the Taos design a winner.

Although Chevy emphasizes the benefits of the 2500HD with the bi-fuel option as a full dual fuel vehicle with a combined range of up to some 650 miles, in more than 500 miles of driving over the course of a week, we used mainly only natural gas. The only reason we used gasoline was for comparison; it wasn’t necessary.
