As per a former Tesla VP, the EV maker may pivot to state funding or even use its own resources to build a Tesla Semi Megacharger route. The planned Megachargers for the Tesla Semi would effectively make the Class 8 all-electric truck a true long-hauler.

An initial investment of more than $18 million to build fueling stations will be supported by the purchase of the 700 LNG tractors and continued expansion of the natural gas fleet in the US.
