Your combined MPGe is 49, and your gas-only combined MPG is 20. If you can plug in often and afford the higher MSRP, the 4xe will make a lot of sense for you and it doesn’t take away any of the Wrangler Rubicon’s core strengths. But if you have the scratch and the access to juice, it makes a strong argument for itself.

Since it was not a Level 2 charger, I knew it would not gain much juice overnight. I don’t understand why all chargers won’t accept credit cards just as they do at gas stations. Thanks to phone apps, I was able to find chargers at several pubs and a few hotels as well getting quick charges at several major gas stations.

A plug-in hybrid vehicle is especially good for local electric motoring with the freedom to burn gas on a longer trip. The EPA’s green scores on the standard 0-10 scale, where 10 is best, include a 7 for Smog, 7 for MPG the Fuel Economy score and a 9 for CO 2 on Greenhouse Gas score. Moving towards more juice.
