International jurisdictions are setting dates for the end of new fossil fuel vehicles. The Climate Change Commission’s analysis shows that by 2030 67% of cars entering the New Zealand market are EV. We would make the following additional points: E-mobility, by definition, depends on affordable and reliable renewable electricity.
