" President Obamas auto task force doesnt see it that way. They leased a few (at a loss) to those that could afford it. based technology will actually achieve any economy in production. It was a Manufacturing Failure, as GM NEVER planned to build the car in Volume, so No Economies of Scale were ever achieved.
