The grip was excellent, thanks in a big part to the independent rear suspension that delivered a controlled driving experience. The optional MagneRide damping system, part of the $1,995 Handling Package, kept the rear tires planted. ZR is a speed rating, which in this case means the tire can handle speeds surpassing 150 mph.

The relaxed feel in-town and at highway speeds began with the Michelin Primacy Tour 255/40 all-season tires, mounted on 21-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, which were part of the Sport Prestige package, which also included an electronic limited slip differential. The adjustable multi-color ambient LED lighting was soothing.
