Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. Fiat stopped selling the Cinquecento, or 500e, in the United States (in reality California and Oregon only) in 2019. The grille is larger, and the front lighting now integrates fog and daytime running lights.

Redesigned Top Selling Sedan Goes All Hybrid Toyota made a splash at the 116th Los Angeles Auto Show this week with the debut of the redesigned, ninth generation 2025 Camry, which will now only be offered as a hybrid. The LED tail lights wrap from the fender to the rear. Story by John Faulkner.

To figure out how to make electric trucks work in practice, the manufacturer, the state of California, and a wide array of partners—more than a dozen all told—launched the Volvo LIGHTS (Low Impact Green Heavy Transport Solutions) project in 2019 to test its first electric Class 8 tractors with multiple Southern California operators.

Once out of the Los Angeles area, we took CA 123 through Fillmore and Santa Paula, then headed to Ojai on CA 150 through the Topatopa Mountains. The motor-driven power steering was a bit light, but tuned for good road feel. LED daytime running lights and fog lights, located in the bottom fascia, complete the front end design.

6th Generation Offers More Modern Design; Hybrid Coming The 2025 Forester, making its debut this past week (November 16, 2023) at the 116th Los Angeles Auto Show, will be on-sale in dealers in the spring of 2024. The current fifth generation Subaru Forester, all-new in 2019, has been one of Subaru’s best-selling models.

Simple math says we possibly could have driven 316 miles, which is just 36 miles shy of Los Angeles to the Silicon Valley.
